tears

and the girl cried, and cried, and cried.
she cried so much
that her salted tears turned into a vast, revolted ocean.
whenever she calms down, her sea of tears will calm down too.
but when she starts crying once again, the ocean will get very angry,
with terrifying splashes of water beating up at the stones,
sinking the ships ashore
and waking up the fisherman,
so that they will remember her sad story once more.
